A diary of Isolation in the capital city

Hi. My name is Alice. On March 12 2020 as the cases of COVID -19 in London grew in number, my husband and I decided the time had come to isolate ourselves completely.

We love our city and were sad to leave it below as we confined ourselves to the seventh floor in our apartment block.

Since then, we have been unlocked on July 4th and locked down for a second time on November 5th. Throughout it all, as you will read, we have been super-careful but still managed to have some good and interesting times.

On December 2nd we will be unlocked again and released into a London still subject to severe restrictions . It’s not over yet so this Blog will continue to tell you what it’s like to be ………..
